Vancouver Financial Planner Adam Stephanson's Picture

Adam Stephanson, CFP®, CLU®, CHS

Financial Planner
Investment Representative

Adam Stephanson has been working in the financial services industry since 2005, and thrives on each opportunity to be a genuine help to his clients. While not professing to have an official motto, if he had one it might be something like this:

“I want to help!”

Nothing lights Adam up more than having a genuine opportunity to connect with someone whose need meets his abilities. These could include:

  • Helping work with a client to put their financial life on one page for the first time, and seeing the light bulb go on- (“so THAT’s where everything is!”)
  • Helping a young family get the lay of the land as to the various tools and strategies that may be of use to them as they move forward, reducing overwhelm, helping avoid pitfalls, and empowering them to chart their course with confidence
  • Helping a small business owner understand, plan and deliver an impactful and affordable benefits plan for their employees, improving retention and the team bond
  • Helping to reassure and work with clients when challenging times in the market arise, when emotions and headlines threaten to derail their plans

A graduate of UBC, Adam has also attained various industry- recognized designations:

  • CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Practitioner, 2010)
  • CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter, 2014)
  • CHS® (Certified Health Insurance Specialist, 2016)

In addition to these qualifications, Adam is committed to ongoing professional development, and keeping up on industry trends and innovations. He is empathetic and insightful, and this combined with his 20+ years of experience serve as the basis for his work with clients.

When not working, Adam can be found spending time with his family, seeking out a picturesque spot for a half-sweet mocha, playing guitar or working on his golf swing.
